Dear Sam,

When I woke up this morning, it was 2degrees outside…winter is definitely upon us!!!
We hope you are well and that God’s hand has been on all your endeavors.
This past couple of months has been a fruitful time. It has been a privilege to see many people respond to the gospel message…many for the first time.

Invercargill – 18 respond in the deep south

A few weeks ago I spent a weekend in Invercargill. Working with a great church down there, Cornerstone New Life, it was a privalege to share over 5 times throughout the weekend.

A highlight was the Friday night. 92 young people from around that region came together with well over 1/2 of them not having a church background.

We were able to share a multimedia gospel presentation with them, with 18 responding to accept Christ.

For many of these young people this is the first time they have understood this message, so please pray the seeds sown in their life would remain.

Each week we have been able to connect with young people either in their schools or on a friday night. Spencer, pictured to the right, has been doing a great job working with us in these areas, and is now in his 2nd year of ministry.

It is often on the friday nights where we see young people make decisions for Christ. On one night last month, 12 young people responded to a gospel presentation.

It is so true that while the methods change over time, the message remains constant and has the power to change lives
